The Outrigger Enterprises Group recently sold selected operations in Australia and New Zealand to the Mantra Group. The Outrigger name was not sold, so as a result of this agreement the Outrigger properties in Australia have been rebranded to Peppers or Mantra.

Both Peppers and Mantra are well know brands in Australia aimed at the higher end of the market.

With in excess of 6,000 rooms across more than 130 branded and independent properties, Mantra Group ranks as the third largest branded hotel operator in Australia. More than 30 of the resorts are located in the Gold Coast region.

Mantra Group's properties in Australia and New Zealand include household brands such as BreakFree, Mantra and Peppers.
