Cedar Creek is the focal point of the 320 acre
rainforest paradise, Thunderbird Park. The splendid vista of its
eddying life-force coupled with the tranquil melody of its gentle
cascades, can be experienced from a myriad of vantage points around
the property.
The source of Cedar Creek can be traced to the pristine and majestic
splendour that is Tamborine Mountain. Cedar Creek meanders its way
down the mountain, shaded under magnificent rainforest canopy. Its
banks are home to a wonderland of wildlife, from timid platypus
to birds and mysterious glow worms. Also dotted along the banks
of Cedar Creek, our luxury Creek Lodges are ideally situated to
absorb the full splendour of this sub-tropical Garden of Eden.
The licensed restaurant, ‘Rainforest’, is open every
day and Friday and Saturday evenings (a la carte) for both in-house
guests and visitors.
The staff look forward to guiding you away from the every-day and
into the calm. Isn’t it time you found yourself in Thunderbird
Park?
