Binna Burra Mountain Lodge combines the peace and tranquillity
of a mountain getaway with a unique opportunity to explore a unique
rainforest environment.
Joining in our organised activities is a great way to meet fellow
guests and make new friends but, of course, you're more than welcome
to enjoy Binna Burra at your own pace. The Lodge was first established
in the early 1930s and while they have all been fully updated with
modern amenities, there are no phones, clocks, radios or television
to remind you of the life you've left behind.
Room Facilities
Binna Burra Mountain Lodge offer a variety of accommodation:
- The Lodge provides accommodation for a maximum of 100 guests
in rustic timber and log cabins built from hand-cut tallow wood
slabs.
- Waratah Cabins offer panoramic views of Numinbah Valley and
surrounding mountains and include mini bar and private amenities
plus tea/coffee making facilities. Sleeps up to 2 adults or
2 adults 1 child .
- Acacia Cabins offer mountain and rainforest views and include
mini bar and private amenities plus tea/coffee making facilities.
Sleeps up to 3 adults or 2 adults 2 children.
- Casuarina Cabins are nestled amidst native gardens and have
tea/coffee making facilities and a vanity basin. Fully tiled
amenities with spa bath are located on the same level, via a
covered walkway. Sleeps up to 3 adults or 2 adults 2 children.
Resort Facilities
Guests are free to enjoy the daily activities program of guided
walks, find solitude in the relaxation areas around the Lodge or
explore the Park at leisure.
- Share the magic of a roaring log fire in the main Guest Lounge
at the end of the day.
- Plan the next day's activities and enjoy a spectacular mountain
sunset over pre- or post-dinner drinks in the Library, main
Guest Lounge or on the Coomera Terrace
- Learn more about the Lamington National Park flora & fauna
or find some light reading in the well-stocked library.
- Buy locally-produced arts, crafts, souvenirs and essentials
from the Lodge Gift Shop
- Join in the friendly ambience of communal seating in our Clifftop
Dining Room where the fresh home-style country cuisine is only
surpassed by the spectacular view.
- For the thrill seekers, even the most adventurous will be
challenged by the sheer cliff abseil descents, some of the best
in Australia.
- Our younger guests are not forgotten with our kids only 'Echidna
Club' (Educating children and developing nature awareness).
Bushwalks, archery, picnics and other rainforest adventures
are the reasons why kids want to keep coming back.

Location
From Brisbane : Drive down the M1 and "Exit 57"
From Gold Coast: Heading from "Pacific Fair" take "Route
90" and follow to Canungra.
From Ipswich, Toowoomba, Warwick: Drive towards Peak Crossing,then
to Beaudesert & Canungra. After Canungra take the Tamborine
Mountain turnoff.
