• Upcoming Events for Visitors to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast's famous art and craft markets are held every week end on on the fabulous beach fronts of Broadbeach (1st and 3rd Sunday of the month), Coolangatta (2nd Sunday) and Burleigh Heads (3rd Sunday).

29 May - 1 June: Blues on Broadbeach. A program packed with leading Australian blues acts and studded with international guests.

30 May - 9 June: Wintersun Festival 2007, Australia's Leading Rock & Roll Nostalgia Retro Event to be held in Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. Featuring over 1000 Hot Rods, Custom and Classic Cars, more than 100 bands and performers, dancing, movies, street parade and competitions.

6 July: Gold Coast Marathon - this is Australia's fastest, flattest course with a top elevation of just 15m above sea level, and hence an ideal course for those who are looking to compete in their first marathon or half-marathon, or for those wishing to achieve a personal best time.
